A very popular delicious pasalubong treat from Negros. It is a type of pastry with brown sugar and butter as its main ingredients. Sumptuous buttery bars sprinkled with peanuts. It is similar to toffee, but for butterscotch the sugar is boiled to the soft crack stage, and not hard crack as with toffee. They come in bite size bars, individually wrapped to seal its freshness. It tastes so good, one pack of 9 isn’t enough. So get 4! 🙂
